Join Bridget charters as she teaches you how to make Manti, one of the most beloved comfort foods in Turkey. These beloved dumplings are small, carefully folded and filled with seasoned ground meat, traditionally served with garlicky yogurt and finished with butter infused with Aleppo pepper or paprika.
Bridget will walk you through the full process from making the dough and filling, rolling it thin, and cutting it into precise squares. You’ll practice the signature folding technique while learning why Manti are traditionally made small as a sign of care and hospitality. Along the way Bridget will share tales of dining in Istanbul, enjoying multiple bowls of Manti. She will share the deep rooted history of why Manti are often made at home, gathered around a table with family and friends. At the end of class you will sit down together to enjoy the dish you’ve crafted, celebrating patience and craftsmanship. Perfect for dumpling lovers, adventurous cooks, and anyone curious about the heart of Turkish home cooking.
You will be greeted with Roasted Shepards Salad to enjoy while watching the demonstration and will receive substantial tastes of the following menu items.
