Moussaka with Chef Bridget Charters

Moussaka is a traditional Mediterranean dish, particularly popular in Greece, Turkey, and the Balkans. It is a layered casserole, rich in flavor and texture, often described as the Mediterranean version of a lasagna. 

In this class, Chef Bridget will show you how to properly prepare the eggplant and the meat sauce, along with choosing the right spices for flavor balance. You will learn how to make a perfect, creamy bechamel, as well as tips for achieving the right consistency and flavor. You will perfect the art of layering the ingredients in a baking dish to create a balanced, delicious casserole. Then you will roll up your sleeves and with help from the Hot Stove Team, create your own moussaka to pack up and take home!  Leave the mess at Hot Stove(!), what could be better!

Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a slice of Moussaka and a version of Greek Salad for dinner while you watch Bridget's demo.

Ticket price is per 1 person.  If you register separately from the person (or people) with whom you are attending, please let us know in advance so we can make sure we seat you with your party.

Refund policy: Once a class is purchased it is non-refundable.  The ownership, however, is yours and you may send someone else in your stead.
