Dive into the briny world of fresh oysters in this interactive, hands-on class. We begin with a guided lesson on shucking techniques, followed by plenty of hands-on practice as you shuck and taste your way through a curated selection of oysters from near and far. Along the way, we’ll explore how oyster culture changes from region to region and how location shapes flavor. You will discover different preparation styles like roasted Hama Hama oysters with chipotle compound butter and deep-fried oysters that will be served with Half Shell tartar sauce. By the end of class, you’ll leave with the confidence and skills to source, shuck and serve oysters like a pro whether you’re enjoying them at home, in restaurants, or straight off the beach.
You will be greeted with a glass of prosecco, Hot Stove House Made Lemon and Black Pepper Crackers with Hama Hama Smoked Salmon Pate and Smoked Oysters to enjoy while watching the demonstration and will receive substantial tastes of the following menu items.
