Mother/daughter team, Juliana and Pat, indulge readers with their vibrant collection of 80 delicious recipes and their intimate knowledge of Indonesian cuisine. This comprehensive cookbook is lighthearted and punctuated with practical, how-to instruction. Mortar and Pestle proves Indonesian food can be prepared in any kitchen.

In this class the author of the book Patricia Tanumihardja and our very own chef Rasyidah Rosli will create some of Patricia's favorite dishes from the book. Pat and Rasyidah will share some of their childhood food memories as well as their passion and expertise for Indonesian cuisine. This immersive experience will transport you to the heart of Southeast Asia, where you will discover the bold spices, vibrant colors, and rich cultural traditions of Indonesian cuisine.

Guest will receive Oma's Pork Satay (Sate Babi Oma) upon arrival and substantial taste of the following menu items while watching the demonstration.

Ticket price is per 1 person. If you register separately from the person (or people) with whom you are attending, please let us know in advance so we can make sure we seat you with your party.

Refund policy: Once a class is purchased it is non-refundable. The ownership, however, is yours and you may send someone else in your stead.
