Costa Rica with Chef Bridget Charters

The food of the "Banana Republics" is a fusion of cuisines from Latin America, Europe, West Africa, Chinese and North America. The regions of the Caribbean were inhabited by local Tribes prior to the invasion of Europeans and their workers from all over the world. You will travel to some of these places with the menus. First up...Costa Rica!

Bridget will get the Pork Roasting then show you how to make the Elote Tamal. Right after, you will get to make the traditional Corn Tamal and Lizano salsa to take home.  While the tamal is baking, Bridget will demo the sides, while you sit and enjoy the pork and sides. Last but not least, you will be learning and tasting an amazing tres leche cake!!

  • Pierna de Cerdo - Leg of Pork with Tropical Fruits
  • Yuca Frita - Cassava Root Fritters
  • Gallo Pinto - Costa Ricas traditional Peas and Rice
  • Tres Leche Cake

Policies: 

Ticket price is per 1 person.  If you register separately from the person (or people) with whom you are attending, please let us know in advance so we can make sure we seat you with your party. 

Refund policy: Once a class is purchased it is non-refundable.  The ownership, however, is yours and you may send someone else in your stead. 

Please let us know about any allergens or dietary restrictions ahead of time to best accommodate you.
