DEMO AND DINNER
Night markets and street food are a big part of international culinary culture, but even more so in Southeast Asia. In this class, Chef Franz will take you through a small tour of his favorite street foods. Let us take your taste buds on a trip across the Pacific without ever leaving Belltown! Cocktail Master Julie Ross will demonstrate and serve a Color Me Apple (with fresh apple juice, fin, and umeshu) and an As Yuzu Wish (a whiskey cocktail with yuzu and passionfruit) to pair with the food.
Guests will be welcomed by a freshly grilled Bacon Wrapped Teriyaki Kiri-Mochi and Sparkling Sake. After this, our team will prepare and serve substantial portions of the following dishes, as Franz shares tips and tricks so you can make these foods at home! The class is demo only, but Julie always brings guests up to learn her fabulous cocktail tricks.
What You'll Learn and Taste
- Kwek Kwek and Tokneneng – Filipino batter fried quail and chicken eggs
- Mini Hujiao Bing – Taiwanese oven-roasted pork buns loaded to burst with scallions and black pepper
- Ma La Zi Ji – A Sichuan favorite, hot and spicy popcorn chicken
- Turon A La Mode – A Filipino plantain spring roll with a shatteringly crisp caramel glaze.
Ticket price is per 1 person. If you register separately from the person (or people) with whom you are attending, please let us know in advance so we can make sure we seat you with your party.
Refund Policy: Once a class is purchased it is non-refundable. The ownership, however, is yours and you may send someone else in your stead.
