Celebrate the Local Bounty of the Pacific Northwest
Kim O’Donnel, chef, journalist, and teacher, will be here with her newest book, PNW Veg. This is the third vegetable focused cookbook for Kim, who has also written for publications such as The Washington Post and helped popularize the concept of Meatless Mondays. PNW Veg is a celebration of the extraordinary produce, legumes and grains of the Pacific Northwest. An East Coast native, Kim moved to the Seattle area in 2008, where she learned to embrace the bountiful harvest of this region. If you’re looking for ways to ‘eat the season’ with deliciously creative plant-forward recipes, this is the class for you!
As you watch Kim demo, you’ll enjoy a substantial taste of each dish. A copy of PNW Veg is included in the price of the class and Kim will sign your book.
What You’ll Learn:
- Roasted Squash Toasts with Spiced Nut Dust
- The Best Cranberry Juice You’ve Never Had
- Oven-Spiced Carrots and Parsnips with Blue Cheese Yogurt Sauce
- Curried Chickpeas and Brussels Sprouts
