Lunch Club- Tartine$25.00
Tartine All Day Cookbook
Tired of the same-old, same old? Try thinking about lunch in a whole new way and sign up for Lunch Club! In the same hour that you usually spend chomping down a sandwich while you look at your phone, you can be seated at Hot Stove Society while Chef Eric Tanaka (ET) cooks lunch for you!
For this edition of Lunch Club, ET has chosen recipes from one of his favorite cookbooks, Tartine All Day by Elisabeth Pruett. This is the latest cookbook by the chef/co-owner of the stellar San Francisco restaurants, Tartine Bakery, Bar Tartine, and Tartine Manufactury.
ET will start you off with some addictive home-made cheese crackers. You’ll move on to a lush bread pudding and the on-trend darling- fried chicken- but Tartine’s version has a light and crispy chickpea flour crust. You’ll end with a lovely kabocha squash with warm spices- it’s like eating the best pumpkin pie but without the pie shell.
Go ahead and treat yourself to this special way to go out for lunch. Better yet, find a buddy and make it a lunch date!
What You’ll Learn: (Demo only)
- Cheese and Pepper Cracker
- Savory Bread Pudding with Wild Mushrooms and Bacon
- Fried Chicken with Vegetable Slaw (demo of chicken but no demo of slaw)
- Kabocha Custard
