Make and Take Soups

On a cold winter day, nothing beats a fragrant bowl of soup to warm you from the inside out. This is the time of year when it feels satisfying to get back in the kitchen and do some real cooking from scratch. You can make soups ahead of time and enjoy the comfort of knowing you’re coming home to a delicious, nourishing supper that only needs to be heated up.

Hot Stove Chef Instructor Bridget Charters will teach you how to make different types of soups including how to how to thicken soups, and how to make variations.  

As you watch Bridget demo, you’ll enjoy substantial tastes of each dish. Then you’ll roll up your sleeves and work in teams of two to make both the Hearty Italian White Bean and Sausage Soup and the Italian Chicken Soup with Greens and Meatballs, and you’ll take home a container of each.

A glass of wine or beer is included.
