Embrace Winter in a Big, Delicious Way

Ripe red tomatoes, sweet corn, and other luscious summer fruits and vegetables are long gone. But Hot Stove Director Lexi Ochoa wants to show you that you can achieve just as much deliciousness with winter vegetables. You just need to learn how to cook winter’s greens, roots and squashes with excitement and creativity! Furthermore, the cold weather is a good excuse to make hearty dishes like a spicy pork and mustard greens soup with rice noodles, kale malfatti (tender ricotta dumplings) with brown butter and pumpkin, or celery root cut into ‘steaks,’ then fried and seasoned with citrus and horseradish. Not to mention, a comforting carrot pie with pecan crust for dessert. Winter never tasted so good!

As you watch Lexi demo, you’ll enjoy substantial tastes of each dish. A glass of wine or beer is included.
