Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls

Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls

Roll your heart out with spring rolls

Vietnamese fresh spring rolls look beautiful and taste delicious.  All kinds of fresh ingredients including herbs, veggies, bean sprouts, fish, seafood, and meats can be rolled up in rice paper to make spring rolls.  Hot Stove Instructor Annie Elmore wants to show you how to assemble and roll fresh spring rolls properly.  When properly rolled, your spring rolls will be so tasty and attractive you’ll want to make them at home for a fun family meal or as conversation-starter for your next dinner party.

Annie will demo two different dipping sauces: peanut sauce and fried garlic hoisin.  Then she’ll show you how to make three different kinds of fresh spring rolls: crispy sweet and salty spam, miso glazed roast salmon, and lemongrass-chili pork loin.

Then the fun begins. The Hot Stove Team will set out everything you need including the proteins demoed by Annie as well as lettuce, bean sprouts, cucumbers, fruits and herbs.  In teams of two, you will assemble and roll your own fresh spring rolls, hands-on, choosing your own combinations of ingredients. Then enjoy eating the spring rolls you made with both of the dipping sauces.

A glass of wine or beer is included.
