Tom Builds a Beautiful Bento Box

Tom Builds a Beautiful Bento Box

Demo and Tastes

The meaning of bento means “boxed meals” which is a forum  that Japanese chefs use to present little tastes of their most flavorful foods. The beautiful presentation of these tastes is what completes one another and is the inspiration of Chef Tom Douglas to craft his own bento box. The menu is derived from his cook book, Seattle Kitchen.

The Menu:

Togarashi Prawns

Tangerine Ginger Glazed Chicken Skewers

Octopus with Green Papaya Slaw

Shitake Thai Sticks

Japanese Pickles
