You made it through Monday…you got all the way through the workday on Tuesday… right now you could use a treat.  Welcome to Taco Tuesday at the Hot Stove Society!

Hot Stove Director Lexi is an ardent fan of Mexican food, whether she’s cooking it, eating it or studying books about it. For this class she is pulling out all the stops with a sensational menu that includes lobster tacos and lamb barbacoa tacos. For dessert, Lexi will show you how to construct a layered crepe torte with the flavors of Mexican chocolate and dulce de leche.

 As you watch Lexi demo, you’ll enjoy substantial tastes of everything she cooks. You’ll learn everything you need to know about how to pull off a fabulous taco feast, and you’ll go home with all the recipes- which is important, because this is the best idea for a dinner party we can think of.

  • Welcome drink: aged tequila with Mexican-style green mango with chile and lime
  • Chicory salad with winter citrus, spicy pickled delicata, pepitas, and a creamy green goddess dressing
  • Paraguayan polenta with winter squash and red chile gastrique
  • Lobster tacos on a blue corn tortilla with epazote mayo, dried Prosser pepper powder, and cotija
  • Lamb barbacoa tacos on a Cantina Lena tortilla with salsa borracha, cucumbers, and olives
  • Mexican chocolate, dulce de leche crepe torte
