The veggie rock stars of Spring!

Nothing says spring like a plate of fresh, tender sweet peas….  unless it’s a bowl of fresh fava beans with their nutty taste, creamy texture and sparkling green color…. or unless it’s a platter of perfect asparagus at the peak of the season! Chef Instructor Bridget Charters is pulling out all the stops to show you the most delicious ways to prepare all three of these glorious spring and early summer vegetables.

Bridget will talk to you about Northwest varietals and how to grow and harvest.  She’ll also discuss when you can expect to find peas, favas, and asparagus at our local Farmers Markets and all the best ways to cook and handle these spring treats.

As you watch Bridget demo, you’ll enjoy a substantial taste of each dish. You’ll go home with plenty of fresh new ideas to get you out of your old cooking habits!
