Carne Asada Tacos!

Tired of the same-old, same old?  Try thinking about lunch in a whole new way and sign up for Lunch Club!  In the same hour that you usually spend chomping down a sandwich while you look at your phone, you can be seated at Hot Stove Society while Director Lexi Ochoa cooks lunch for you!

For this edition of Lunch Club, Lexi has come up with an amazing Taco Tuesday menu.  Cantina Leña’s broccoli salad has a wonderful interplay of flavors and textures-the char on the broccoli, the creamy cotija (Mexican cheese) dressing, the tang of pickled onion and the crunch of corn nuts- and Lexi will show you how it's done. For the next course, you’ll learn how to make the carne asada (thin sliced grilled beef) tacos from Roy Choi, the chef who created the Korean taco truck, Kogi, in Los Angeles. Is there any better way to end a taco lunch like this than with crisp outside, tender inside, golden-brown churros (Spanish fried pastries) served with luscious dipping sauces?

Go ahead and treat yourself to a special way to go out for lunch. Better yet, find a buddy and make it a lunch date!
