How to make classic corned beef- from scratch!

It’s Friday AND only a couple days before St. Patrick’s Day! You know you deserve a treat.  Why not sign up for a special St. Patrick’s Day lunch at the Hot Stove Society?

We’ll start you off with a rich and creamy Irish Stout and Cheddar Soup. Then you’ll enjoy an Irish classic- a plate of hand-cured corned beef served with horseradish cream sauce and the Irish potato pancakes known as boxty.  You’ll end on a deliciously sweet note with a piece of Guinness Stout Chocolate Cake.

While you eat lunch, you’ll watch Chef Instructor Bridget Charters demo the dishes for you. Bridget is 60% Irish herself, so you know she’s excited about this class! What makes the juicy corned beef on your plate so tasty? Bridget will show you how to make your own corned beef by blending spices, brining, curing and cooking a brisket.

Go ahead and treat yourself to this special way to enjoy St. Patrick’s Day.  Better yet, find a buddy and make it a lunch date!
