Tired of the same-old, same old?  Try thinking about lunch in a whole new way and sign up for Lunch Club!  In the same hour that you usually spend chomping down a sandwich while you look at your phone, you can be seated at Hot Stove Society while Hot Stove Instructor Jamie Freedman cooks lunch for you!

For this lunch club, Jamie is going to show you how to prepare a lovely French menu featuring one of her favorite types of shellfish- the Pacific Northwest's delicious mussels.  Jamie will show off these black-shelled beauties to best advantage with a tasty French preparation of mussels in cream.  You’ll start off with a fried parsnip salad and you’ll finish with a lovely slice of lemon almond tart with raspberry sauce.

Go ahead and treat yourself to a special way to go out for lunch. Better yet, find a buddy and make it a lunch date!

  • Fried parsnip salad with walnut oil dressing and arugula
