Lunch Club- Jambalaya

Lunch Club- Jambalaya

Tired of the same-old, same old?  Try thinking about lunch in a whole new way and sign up for Lunch Club!  In the same hour that you usually spend chomping down a sandwich while you look at your phone, you can be seated at Hot Stove Society while Chef Instructor Bridget cooks lunch for you!

For this edition of Lunch Club, Bridget takes you to Louisiana for a country-style menu featuring Jambalaya, the classic Louisiana rice dish of Spanish and French origin. You’ll enjoy a three-course demo, a lovely lunch, and you’ll get all the recipes!

Go ahead and treat yourself to this special way to enjoy lunch. Better yet, find a buddy and make it a lunch date!

What You’ll Learn and Eat: (demo only)

  • Maque Choux- this sauté of corn, peppers and tomatoes is the Creole version of succotash. Keep this recipe handy for the abundant produce of summer.
  • Jambalaya with chicken and Andouille sausage- everyone loves jambalaya, and it’s a great dish to make for a crowd.
  • Summer fruit cobbler- who can resist a cobbler bubbling with the juices of summer’s best fruit?
