Tired of the same-old, same old?  Try thinking about lunch in a whole new way and sign up for Lunch Club!  In the same hour that you usually spend chomping down a sandwich while you look at your phone, you can be seated at Hot Stove Society while Chef instructor Bridget Charters cooks lunch for you!

For this edition of lunch club, Bridget is going to show you how to make some of the most popular and scrumptious dishes of the American South. You’ll start with a classic Southern favorite, shrimp and grits, and Bridget will show you how to make this with real artisan grits from Anson Mills.  You can’t go wrong with a plate of crispy, golden, juicy Southern fried chicken with all the trimmings, in this case collard greens and black-eyed peas. Have you ever tasted Chess pie? This is your chance to taste this traditional Southern pie with a smooth, rich filling of butter, sugar and eggs.

Go ahead and treat yourself to a special way to go out for lunch. Better yet, find a buddy and make it a lunch date!
