Tired of the same-old, same old?  Try thinking about lunch in a whole new way and sign up for Lunch Club!  In the same hour that you usually spend chomping down a sandwich while you look at your phone, you can be seated at Hot Stove Society while Chef Instructor Bridget Charters cooks lunch for you!

For this edition of Lunch Club, our Italian food expert, Bridget, will show you how to make a calzone, which is an oven baked folded pizza stuffed with delicious things- in this case mozzarella, tomato, and basil.  You’ll start off with panzerotti, a fried half-moon savory turnover, and you’ll end with the delicate Italian custard, panna cotta.

Go ahead and treat yourself to this special way to go out for lunch. Better yet, find a buddy and make it a lunch date!

What You’ll Learn and Eat: (demo only)

  • Panzerotti Farcite- small half-moon filled with ham and cheese- similar to a calzone but fried instead of baked
  • Calzone al Formaggio Fresco- filled with mozzarella, tomato and basil (served with a simple green salad)
  • Honey Panna Cotta with fruit
