Tired of the same-old, same old?  Try thinking about lunch in a whole new way and sign up for Lunch Club.  In the same hour that you usually spend chomping down a sandwich while you look at your phone, you can be seated at Hot Stove Society while Chef Instructor Bridget Charters cooks lunch for you!

For this edition of Lunch Club, Our Italy expert, Bridget, is going to teach you all about bollito misto.   Traditionally bollito misto is served throughout the north of Italy in winter months and is served with a rosso sauce of peppers and a verde sauce of mixed herbs.  The northern regions of Italy have their variations, but it is served with chicken, beef, veal, and some type of sausage which is cooked separately so the broth doesn’t become oily.  For lunch Bridget will start of with fresh, handmade pasta in a flavorful broth; followed by a traditional bollito misto so you can try both red and green sauces.  Delicious poached pears with chocolate sauce will finish off this lunch.
