A springtime treat

Tired of the same-old, same old?  Try thinking about lunch in a whole new way and sign up for Lunch Club!  In the same hour that you usually spend chomping down a sandwich while you look at your phone, you can be seated at Hot Stove Society while Chef instructor Bridget Charters cooks lunch for you!

At the first hint of spring, stinging nettles start to pop out of the ground.  Despite their prickly nature, they lose their stinging ability once they hit heat.  They have a flavor reminiscent of spinach with deep, earthy flavors, and can be used interchangeably.  You can also turn them into chips!  Bridget will show you a couple different ways to incorporate this springtime treat into your next dinner party.

Go ahead and treat yourself to a special way to go out for lunch. Better yet, find a buddy and make it a lunch date!

  • Nettle Soup served with crusty Dahlia Bakery bread -- pureed nettle soup with potatoes, garnished with savory whipped ricotta and spring mint
  • Fresh, Handmade Fettuccini with Nettle Cream Sauce
  • Lemon Ricotta Tart
