Demo + Hands-On

Here’s a chance to sharpen your knife skills! We’ll cover a wide range of techniques including mincing, chopping, slicing, dicing, and other classic cuts that you will practice. You will take home the fruits of your labor with a recipe to make perfect minestrone.

Each knife skills class includes a butchery demo of to how to spatchcock a chicken, and  tips and tricks for cutting up seasonal vegetables.

Good knife skills start with a sharp knife, so we’ll also give you a little intro to knife sharpening and a chance to practice on one of our whetstones.

During the demonstration portion of the class we will provide a beautifully composed Salmon Salad Niçoise. 

Guests will start the class with a glass of bubbles. Additional  alcoholic beverages are available for purchase via card payment only.

Note: We will provide knives for you to use in class, however you are welcome to bring your knives from home if you prefer instead (we recommend securing them in a piece of folded cardboard for safe transit).

Safety: Per CDC guidelines we request that any unvaccinated guests wear a mask when not actively eating or drinking, and that any guests that have a) had recent exposure to COVID 19 or b) exhibited symptoms of COVID 19 please stay home.

Refund Policy:  Once a class is purchased it is non-refundable.  The ownership, however, is yours and you may send someone else in your stead.
