Does your kid love to get into the kitchen and bake? Then this is a wonderful opportunity to learn from a top professional pastry chef who loves to work with kids!  Our Dahlia Bakery Chef, Brittany Bardeleben, has devised a pastry menu that will give kids a chance to bake alongside her, hands-on, with lots of opportunities for kids to personalize their creations with mix-ins and other choices.

We’ll welcome the kids with breakfast pastries, and they will also be served a Bento Lunch.

Kids will take home the cookies, whoopie pies, and cheesy biscuits that they make. There will be enough to share with the whole family!

What Your Kid Will Learn: (both demo and hands-on)

  • Everything Chip Cookies- Classic drop cookie method with an array of mix-ins so each kid can be creative.
  • Fruit and Cream Whoopie Pies- Sour cream whoopie pies sandwiched with cream cheese icing and the kid’s choice of seasonal preserves.  Brittany will even demo how to make strawberry jam!
  • Cheesy Biscuits- Cornmeal drop biscuits with kid’s choice of cheese, herbs, and savory mix-ins. Brittany will also demo how to make biscuit sandwiches.
