Easy Vegetable Stir-Fries

Make Wok-Seared Corn, hands-on

Vegetable dishes appear in every Chinese meal either as the star or as a counterpoint to a featured protein dish. In this vegetarian-friendly class, veteran instructor Hsiao-Ching Chou (famous for her potsticker classes and her cookbook Chinese Soul Food) will share basic tips on how to buy a wok and how to stir-fry vegetables.

Hsiao-Ching will talk about how to build a vegetable stir-fry without a specific recipe. She will also demonstrate these recipes: Simple Stir-Fried Greens, Wok-Seared Corn, and Stir-Fried Shoestring Potatoes.

After you watch Hsiao-Ching demo, you’ll get to roll up your sleeves and make all three recipes, hands-on, and you’ll enjoy eating the products of your labors.

If you have a wok, feel free to bring it to use in class.
