Veteran Hot Stove Instructor Hsiao-Ching Chou is known for her hot-selling Potsticker Love classes.   Now that her cookbook Chinese Soul Food has hit the shelves, her fans can bring her recipes into their own kitchens.  For this class, Hsiao-Ching will show you how to make a home-style version of classic Chinese dishes like Beef and Broccoli.  Her home-style version infuses more flavor into the beef itself.  She will also show you the tips for a delicious Vegetable Fried Rice and how to use just about any variety or rice and vegetables to make this fried rice a main feature!

  • Tomato and Egg Drop Soup

Virtual Classroom:

This class will be very similar to our previous in-person Hot Stove classes, with an instructor that demonstrates how to make each dish “live” via Zoom. As a registered attendee, you will have the ability to watch, learn and interact with the instructor, just as if you were sitting at one of our Hot Stove Society work tables! Feel free to cook along with the group or sit back and let your in-home sous chef do all the work – either way, we promise it will be a fun and educational time in the kitchen!
